Say you had a month long project to work on completely alone. and then you finished in a week. Would you wait a bit to let everyone know it is completed early? If yes, how much time would you wait?
Hi All, I heard IBM has bad support projects mostly. Can we choose our project/ account after joining. Can we change if we dont have the required skills for that project.
Joined Accenture over a year ago. I just found out I will be on the same project for the next year. Two years in total on the same project. I don’t want to be on this project. Any advice on how to pivot from tech to strategy?

How is the culture/team at Deloitte’s federal practice in Atlanta? What are the main types of project work there?
How many regular clients do you have? Like, the type that will hit you up and give you work a few times per year? I’m still establishing myself and only have one solid client that will book me for about three weeks at a time every couple months. I feel like if I had two more like that I’d be set. Is that silly?
On a project doing work that I don't enjoy (made that clear upfront and during). I'm now the key team member, and the renewal of this large contract depends on me leading my area. Can I leave? (Cont)
H1-B extension question: I’m currently waiting for 2-3 potential projects to start. What do I mention for client project location in H1-B extension? Wondering if anyone has been through this before...
Advice on pivoting into Sales from Accounting? I know I have the skills and it’s a better fit, personality-wise. I am not a super technical accountant, but my background is still a super strong skill set I bring to the table with me (the ability to process and translate the technical to layman’s terms, and the anticipation of client needs and wants). Are there Sales recruiters similar to those for Public Accounting? Do I go for Inside/Outside 1st? What are your recommendations and wisdom?
If you’re looking to leave agency life what are some viable options other than just going client side? Looking for some inspiration in my potential next move. Any thought starters would be appreciated
Need to pass a price increase to a very picky client. I know we have room to do so but client is bluffing (I m pretty sure). Any advices?
Feeling very discouraged & almost useless in my new role. Been at my new gig for 4 months and not feeling super confident and up to speed with the work and our deliverables. Have truly only been staffed on one “real” project (deal flow has been super slow) and i don’t think i’m getting enough reps (which i know isn’t my fault). Has anything felt this before / is this normal? Really sucky feeling tbh
I have a client (250k)... they are the clients who make me cringe when they call. Very needy and unrealistic. Anyone else have a client they wish would leave? I always hope to see an ACAT out for her!
I fucking hate my client!! If this place burned down, I wouldn't piss on the ashes. That is all.
real estate folks- what is usually the threshold for which a cost segregation study is beneficial for the client. how much does your firm typically charge?
I use the eMoney client portal. I just saw a tv commercial for Personal Capital. Anyone have experience with Personal Capital? Do they blast you with ads like Mint does?
Does Edward Jones offer a client portal to consolidate ALL client accounts? Even outside accounts (credit cards, checking, mortgage) not held at Edward Jones?
Starting a new project in the back of beyond. Team is figuring out the snack box - what’s the best snack while on the road? (Healthy obviously)

I’ve booked a 3 week holiday for December/January this year but am planning on moving companies and finding a new job for around October. Am I likely to have issues taking this leave in a new company?
Matchmaking is one of my side hobbies - just sealed marriage #4. So much more fun than listening to clients bitch... maybe I'll quit and start a consulting match business. Supply meet demand? 😘
Deloitte fish: I applied for a role and submitted my application before my internal referral was submitted. Do I need to reapply through the referral link for the referral to be tagged to my app?
I have never paid for a first class upgrade but I did today. I ended up very lucky because once we boarded the plane, our takeoff was delayed for over an hour
I just accepted an offer at another big4 and I feel so blessed to be making $130k in LOCL as a 23 year old with less than 1.25 YOE. And I find it funny that I'm gonna be "senior" consultant/associate at my age and YOE. I don't know jack shit, and will completely understand if my clients/senior peers don't give me any respect at all. Thank you covid and the great resignation for this wonderous and hilarious opportunity.
BCG folks, general thoughts on your DigitalBCG / public sector group and work? Is pay the same as commercial?
What salary range would you describe as middle class. LCOL I considered my family middle class when my dad made 50k in the 90s. Life seemed alright. 25 years later my dad and I both are at around 170, but I still consider us middle class like we were in the 90s, but now it feels like more of a struggle
