I feel like I always do the absolute most for my family only to be shit on. I'm the one who purchased the most extravagant gifts and I put so much thought into them and I end up getting yet another oil diffuser and some socks. It's not even about the money spent. I would be perfectly happy with a good book. But just the lack of thought and then being put down for other things just a few hours after they've all opened the gifts I got for them. It is really disheartening and hurts me a lot.
