With all the stuff going on in politics, I'm thinking abt taking my talents to a campaign and making political ads. Never really been politically active. Anyone have experience doing this?

@havas I have worked on political campaigns before (mot at current agency). It's a pretty cool experience and people who were not a supporter of the candidate still pitched in for the experience. I think there is a huge opportunity at the PR firms who are trying to succeed in political. They really need creative, content, and media landscape help. Find the independents. Holding companies will have a hard time securing politics due to other clients in their portfolio.

Bruh, no money 😢. Hope your parents are loaded.

I'm not but thank you!! We need more smart ad people in politics. I honestly think a huge part of Hillary's loss was strategists that didn't get it

I’m 2 weeks into an account strategy associate job at Google. I’m realizing I don’t want to be in this job long term but everything but the role is great. I turned down an offer to do product strategy manager at a telecom company with less pay/not as great culture but the recruiter said it’s still an option if I’m interested. Role is what I want to do. Should I jump? I’m just scared I’ll be stuck in account management forever but everything about G is great sans role. Also terrified of blacklist

I am booked at an agency that is filled with toxic people and I got offered a freelance job at a really great agency. I am two weeks into a four week booking but they said that usually keep freelancers on for a really long time. Right now I am only working on edits. Do you all think it would be OK to tell the agency that I’m currently at that I’m going to leave for another booking or is that really bad?
