This is what “advertising” has become. The lowest common denominator. Explainable in a tweet. No depth, no substance, no insight.

Ive seen this idea a hundred times (Applebee’s did a Shirt-napkin last year for their wings), and I still like it.
It’s entertaining and ridiculous and Chipotle’s work usually sucks.
I support this, even if it’s not original.

At the heart of everything we do is to sell shit - a product, a service, an idea... no matter what the brief is, we’re selling something to someone. And, in most cases, the way we achieve that is by gaining an audience’s attention. Social campaigns are usually measured on engagement rate - shares, likes, comments. This execution, whether anyone believes it to be worthy or not, has gained attention for the brand; and therefore, in most cases, this would be considered successful.
This is nowhere near the worst creative work out there. It’s cute even if not earth shattering. Is the vitriol personal?

It’s fun and silly and hopefully will make someone smile. I don’t see why it should get any hate.
