With everything we’re capable of as an industry, this cliché, one-off garbage is what we’re problem-solving for? Smh

Why every little piece of activation created has to be somewhat revolutionary? It’s a just a nice enough idea get people smiling. It ain’t that deep bruv

this is simply influencer marketing, i don’t understand what all the hate is about. the artist @nicolemclaughlin is known for making apparel out of everyday objects, and she made chipotle pants out of napkins. whats the big deal

I think the shirt was a little different. Pretty sure it was to hide drips, not for wiping hands.

(Insert any recent campaign here)

This is what “advertising” has become. The lowest common denominator. Explainable in a tweet. No depth, no substance, no insight.

Have you seen the loooong football developed to promote Thursday Night Football on Prime? I mean…. God help us all.

this was just an influencer activation by chipotle, not much problem-solving involved

Ive seen this idea a hundred times (Applebee’s did a Shirt-napkin last year for their wings), and I still like it.

It’s entertaining and ridiculous and Chipotle’s work usually sucks.

I support this, even if it’s not original.

At the heart of everything we do is to sell shit - a product, a service, an idea... no matter what the brief is, we’re selling something to someone. And, in most cases, the way we achieve that is by gaining an audience’s attention. Social campaigns are usually measured on engagement rate - shares, likes, comments. This execution, whether anyone believes it to be worthy or not, has gained attention for the brand; and therefore, in most cases, this would be considered successful.

This is nowhere near the worst creative work out there. It’s cute even if not earth shattering. Is the vitriol personal?

Is the guac extra ?

It’s fun and silly and hopefully will make someone smile. I don’t see why it should get any hate.

Anyone have experience shipping a laptop from here to folks in India? For context, folks live in a large metro & I'm thinking of shipping a Lenovo laptop thru FedEx from the US. Checked customer service with Lenovo and they mentioned their products have international warranty. However, not sure if Lenovo India would honor it.
I was thinking of buying it directly from Lenovo India but they have fewer laptop options & higher price points. Please let me know if I'm missing anything. TIA!

*me as an intern when i wasn’t totally confident with my idea*. Now before I present this idea to you, I want you to know that above all, it sucks. It’s horrible and reflects poorly on me as a person. Whatever you do-do not like it. I will be tendering my resignation once this is over. I want you to judge this presentation as harshly and with a negative bias against me as possible. Anyway, here’s the idea.
