I’d wear sleeveless and carry a cardigan for the overly air conditioned office thanks to your extra undershirt and button up. 😁

I wear a t-shirt for my commute and then change my shirt when I get to the office.
This is why you’re a VP. I am going to start doing this 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Did you not live here pre-pandemic?
I wasn’t in the work force pre pandemic and didn’t need to worry about dressing in biz cas.. arent u a senior director.. think outside the box
You have to shave body and armpit hair to sweat less. I personally don't wear undershirts because my dress shirts are fitted, so there's barely any room for an additional layer. If you think about it, with no undershirt you should sweat less, because you've got more air circulating in and out of your shirt. So the sweat will evaporate faster than having to deal with a damp undershirt that won't dry. It's especially true in an office with A/C.
I get this impression that in North America fewer guys are wearing undershirts these days under their dress shirts, especially Millenials and Gen Z. None of the men in Europe seem to wear them either because of the tighter fit. They're probably getting a thicker opaque fabric. Regardless, if you work hard in the office you deserve having a lighter weight shirt that doesn't weigh down on your comfort. For me that usually means skipping the undershirt because of how lighter it feels. I get higher quality shirts that have decent opaqueness to them. They may have a higher price tag, but moneywise I think it comes down to the same amount as investing in less expensive translucent shirts plus undershirts.
Boss up and wear shorts and a t-shirt.
