Reading how minimal charges were against Michigan officials in the Flint water crisis reaffirmed to me how unfair life is and people with power really can get away with anything. It’s both motivating and deflating me at the same time.

I am so thankful for my husband. We’ve had a rough year. But when he just pulled up his calendar app, I peeked the “therapy” recurring event for every Tuesday coming up.

It took a really long time to nudge and ask and plead and toss everything short of an ultimatum at him to start this work on his personal and emotional development.

There were times I wasn’t sure anything would change, and I worried maybe I was just wasting time… but he’s still proving he’s the right one :)

6 months into my job and I feel like I can't keep up with the rest of my team. I was a top performer in my previous company and now I feel like everyone else in my team is able to out pace me and do things better. I badly want to quit as nothing I am doing seems to be working for me. I keep pushing but nothing I do seems to be recognized. This is really bringing my confidence down and it sure isn't helping with my anxiety.
