With more than 10 years experience in oil and gas, i feel like this sector is having big transformation and would like to jump ship to consulting and take a role in strategizing the transformation (have some experience in operation improvement, logistic management and digital apps implementation). I know I have to put some work in to get transactional under my belt, but would it be worth getting a pharma MBA and spring-boarding from there? Or just look for firms with healthcare regulation?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

I recently attended an interview with KPMG and cleared the technical rounds. I was promised 11.5 lpa fixed and now after clearing technical rounds they say 11 lpa fixed.
