With more than 10 years experience in oil and gas, i feel like this sector is having big transformation and would like to jump ship to consulting and take a role in strategizing the transformation (have some experience in operation improvement, logistic management and digital apps implementation). I was interviewed by 2 of MBB in 2020 and rejected. Currently I am going to attend a M7 MBA and try to path my way in into MBB or T2 consulting. I am asking on how to put better approach on this Bain & Company

I am thinking to approach my M7 alumni and pursue a role based on my previous expertise (experience hire) but still worry that this action will limit my exposure. Is it better to apply through OCR and become generalist first?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

Hi Fishes

I am applying for a BA role at Globallogic. Can anyone help with a referral?

Hello 👋

After about 18 months of hustling, I’ve been offered my first AD role. My background is in engineering so for what feels like forever I’ve been building (and rebuilding) my book with creative work and it’s finally paid off 🎉

I want to hit the ground running so I’m trying to learn as much as possible before I start.

Can anyone recommend some books, shows, talks, social accounts etc that I can learn from?

Thank you!
