Are covid cases increasing rapidly at your school, or is it just us?

Hi Ladies! I’m a sales rep for a private duty non-medical Homecare agency and when making cold visits at hospitals or clinics to introduce myself I’m often not allowed in. It seems that due to covid they aren’t allowing un-scheduled visits and since I’m new to the area I don’t really know anyone. Anyone experiencing similar challenges? What other ways can I get my foot in the door and meet the key players to begin to establish those relationships?

Tested positive for Covid two days after exposure to a confirmed case. I had mild symptoms for a couple of days. I have been taking a rapid test every couple of days. I continue to test positive and it’s been 9 days now. Should I continue to isolate? What is the consensus? I read that we are most contagious a couple days before and after presenting symptoms and that we can stop isolating after a 5 day period without fever. 2x vaxxed and boosted.

Just got promoted to audit senior, but can’t imagine doing another busy season. I have some forensics internship experience from college and always wanted to pivot to forensics. It sounds like the firm is working mostly on COVID stuff these days, but I’m more interested in doing investigations work. If I transfer and have no choice but to work on insurance/claims, would it be better to stay in auditing? Is the insurance/claims work demanding/difficult intellectually wise?

Uniting a disjointed medium sized regional TA team to meet for 2 days! They haven’t met each other because of covid. Any suggestion for activities? Will be updating in general comms have some key stakeholders talk for a little but want to do something different to unify the team. Not the cliches you do at training days haha

There's a lot of pressure from parents for us to return to in person instructionin my district despite rising COVID numbers. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Especially now mask mandates are being lifted feeling like we can’t go anywhere without risking our kid.

Does your firm consider Asian Americans to be POC for purposes of partnership promotions, etc.? I have multiple times now been purposefully staffed with other POC (non-Asian) attorneys and have been told to staff juniors who are women. Why are law firms utterly uninterested in seeking or receiving feedback from associates about how the firm (doesn’t) functions or is(n’t well) managed? Why is it always an exclusively one way street with the evaluations? Even when the firm is hemorrhaging lawyers. I mean this in all seriousness. I don’t get it. Of course, management doesn’t have to agree with all or even most of what the associates may say, but some insights could really strengthen the firm, and even make it more profitable.
