With regards to diversification, what is the maximum % of your total assets that you would hold in the company you work for? Assume no partner equity requirements and shares are purchased via ESPP.

And remember bear sterns

If I wanted to truly diversify, I’d probably only ever keep 2 cycles of ESPP invested ($15k), but it’s all about risk tolerance. ACN stock has close to doubled the returns of the S&P over the past 5 years, and I’m pretty glad I’ve held for so long.

As others alluded to above, there’s always a chance you’ll get burned with an individual stock, especially when it’s the company you work for.

Probably less than 5%

Hi All,

I got an offer from Accenture and joining date is 18 October. This is into CN. Lately I got a temporary employment contract from Dubai with a very decent pay.
Due to some personal urgencies, I am under confusion to pursue the offer at Dubai or not!
Can I ask a counter from Accenture to increase my pay and a hard genuine try to send me onsite in 6 months?
Or will it backfire and they close my current offer? What's the situation in Accenture as the market is snaily in recent months!

Hot take, for those who received a stimulus based on FY19 or FY18 returns why doesn’t the government make people pay it back in the FY20 return if they don’t qualify based on the actual tax year stimulus was for? I understand why they couldn’t wait but IrS knows who received it so it isn’t hard to implement. Could have used the anticipated saving coming back to fund more stimulus for those who truly needed it.

I'm a noob with bonds, can someone break down ibonds for me in idiot proof language?

Per what I'm reading the interest rate is 9.62% if I buy through Oct 2022. It's a 30 year investment, but I can withdraw after 5 years without 3 month penalty.

Questions:
(1) Is the interest rate fixed or variable over the term of the bond?
(2) Assuming 9.62% is annual return but definitely want to confirm 🤣
(3) Do most people actually keep it in 30 years? I'm looking at 5 years for now and re-assess
