Anyone else looking for a roommate in LA? Living with my parents at the moment, but with the future looking like it's gonna be a lot less travel, I'm hoping to move out soon. I'm 24F
Is it possible to travel to onsite/Europe from same project? Or you need to get release from current project to apply for relocation?
What's Fishtown like? What are nice places to go in the area and how's travel to other parts of LA on the westside? Any streets to avoid?
Do you think Biden will forgive any student debt? And how much do you think will be forgiven if so?
What can i do that will bring me at least 300k base, not travel like consulting days, allow me to not miss any of my kids events, manageable stress, NO BD/sales targets. Not techi, not industry expert either, more like transformation management experience ~15 years.
Who is hiring directors or managers for data analytics? Is it growing? Travel? Pay? Very curious thanks for your perspective!
Are there any folks here with Deloitte Tax Management Consulting? How much travel is involved?
Nothing more delicious than canceling all the hotel reservations because you get to roll off, and thinking about some sweet bench time...
Favorite travel luggage? I have a 20+ year old Briggs & Riley set that has served me well, but the $500+ price tag is turning me off from getting another one.
All my business users are complaining that Workday Procurement Business process is not able to do a basic thing that other ERP could easily do. If an in flight requisition is updated by the initiator, it restarts the whole business process. We understand the BP should restart if there was a change to dollar amount but it shouldn’t if intiator just updated the memo or just added the attachment. Even if it restarts the approval, it should bypass the steps already approved. Any suggestions?
I just had to book with Avis due to no cars available at National which is my usual go-to. Is the Avis program for earning points good or better to direct my points to an airline or hotel program? Where’s the best value?
Just came home from my first solo travel experience and it was amazing! Wish I had done it sooner. Ladies go do it! Dont wait on anyone. ☺️
Parents are booking flight from Mumbai to NY. Which are the best sites to book flights from? Do they have anything similar to Kayak?
Just sat next to Ben Carson on my flight out of Atlanta. Asked him are you scared bro cause you're sitting next to a Muslim? No response followed by a silent flight. Smh
Talking to a guy and he seems nice and fun, but he’s never traveled internationally and that really bugs me. We live in nyc so it’s not hard to travel to Europe at least. It’s one thing if your family never took you on trips but at our age (26) I feel like there’s no real excuse anymore. Am I overreacting?

I want to switch to one of the top 3 firms (McKinsey/BCG/Bain) - hoping for an honest answer - do you guys do lateral hiring from other consulting firms at associate level?
Project was in Detroit. Used Turbo Tax. Got letter in the mail from Detroit saying I owe $3.05 in additional taxes, says to pay in 10 days or its going to collections. Is turbo tax responsible?
Do bonus miles received through status benefits (e.g., 25%, 100%) contribute to your next level status, or only miles flown?
Is it normal to approach random people / recruiters on LinkedIn and ask them for a referral for a position at their company? How do I go about getting referrals for jobs that I want?
I get a kick out of wearing sweats (and also being mid-20s) sitting in first class. Keeps the middle-aged businessmen around me guessing about why I'm here 💁🏻
I recent read about movements to legalize ban on interfaith unions in India. I know we have a lot of India-based fish here and wanted to see how real this is in your lives, what your POV is. Being US-based, I suspect that I don't really fully understand some cultural / societal layers of my Indian colleagues' lives that just don't come up in our interactions. My colleagues are urban, well-educated, and young, but do issues like this still affect your lives? https://www.nytimes.com/2021/07/20/world/india-interfaith-marriage.amp.html
In terms of exit ops / career growth, is it worth exiting to a nonhierarchical organization where you can't get promotions to show progression? How do you make sure you're not taking a step back? And how do you continue to grow your career? Or does it just become a day job?
About to give my first interview at my old college for first rounds. Any tips, best practices? Ex: cases, or red flags to look for when talking to applicants?
