With the assassination of the Russian ambassador, are we witnessing the beginning of World War 3?

I was literally just about to write a post to ask who else was scared for the next few years to come.

like

It's a scary world we live in.

like

A further indication that Trump (the US allied coalition) needs to form a united alliance including Russia to defeat radical Islam.

like

Just wondering the use of word Terrorist as soon as the ambassador gets shot, while thousand been killed by Russian and Syrian Govt....Well its helping the ppl..u know. 🤔🤔🤔

like

Not ww3. Maybe if this was backed by the US but it pretty clearly isn't.

like

Nah. Direct Ww3 among major world powers isn't exactly feasible as with current weapons it'll just assure mutual destruction. Might just be new proxy wars, most likely in the Middle East.

like

Maybe another Cold War. Turkey will pay the price for that!!!

like

Russian will not doing anything people often forget Turkey has one of largest military forces in the world.
When they shot down a Russian fighter in 2015 Russian did nothing. Turkey is not talked about however there military is top 5 in the world

like

Shooting down a jet running sorties is a lot different then shooting an ambassador, someone who is supposed to be given protection while in the hosting state, in the back.

like

Well...I don't think the Russian advancements are anything comparable to Turkey, Turkey & intact entire ME has a long way to go.

like

I agree with you. However, Russia will not retaliate they do not want all out war with Turkey. Turkish president is not scared to use his military it's to close to home for Russia.

like

Ahahahahahah Turkey military? Please. Russia has the largest nuclear arsenal in the world, ground troops don't matter.

like

Except ground troops do matter because no one is going to start an all out nuclear war lol

like

No that's not how it works. Ground troops will matter only and only in a proxy war. Nobody is going to be like "ok guys we declare you war but pls no nuclear weapons play honestly tnx!!". Not to mention that Turkey doesn't want to mess with Russia. If you haven't read the news recently, Turkey has been distancing itself from western values more and more lately and getting closer to Russia.

like

Wars have been started over more trivial things. You never know what will prove to be the spark.

like

I don't think Russia will be that Stupid and attack Turkey...all it will do is just increase the strikes in Syria and make sure ME is destabilized..so it knows where it hurts the most.

Those photos looked like perfect poses. Who would be calm enough to take those perfect pictures?

@KPMG 2 Russia is not going to start a nuclear war. Does not make sense.

All I know is that Turkey's gonna pay. Just see. Putin's watching.

^Nuclear war is not a possibility, if that happens, we all die.

What is a useful, comprehensive but not too long of a book for parenting toddlers?

LO is 16 months old, very sweet and social, at the park every day with other kids with either me or her nanny. Not in day care. Yesterday we had a play date and she slapped another baby on the head. Not hard and did not scare her, but the act of “aggression” took me by surprise and I felt terrible about it. I’d like to be more proactive about toddler psychology, what’s to come and how to react/ teach. TY!
