With the crazy wait times, is it even worth filing for GC under EB2 anymore? Like what are the chances of us even getting the GC during our lifetime

Firm has applied for my GC but i dont have an approved i140 yet. My GC application and my home office location is in state X. And i’m planning to move to a state Y which is under 50 miles from my old home location. So my question is, if I change the states but the new location is under 50 miles will that be a problem for my green card application? I am planning to email the immigration lawyers but wanted to see if anybody has done something similar and share experiences
