Hello! I am graduating this coming December with an M.S in Biomedical Engineering (Emphasis in Comp. Sci.) and B.S in Computer Engineering. I have had 5 internships at a pretty cool company (I would say), but have recently discovered the world of product management and got to experience a small taste of it through a role in a startup project. How hard is it being a legal recruiter? What skills do you need? What does compensation look like? Given the market being so hot and so many legal recruiter emails hitting associates' inboxes everyday, is the field too saturated?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞
