Yeah, coz partners are the ones who feel the inflation the most. Unlike say As or SAs.

likefunny

Partners don’t have salaries.
Pay is your portion of distributable profits.
There’s no inflation in that calculus.

like

They were asking about how people get paid, not whether inflation affects them after they’re paid.
How money is distributed is the question.

Great question. Great category of questions to be asking as a Senior Manager. Just curious, where do you get your career advice/counsel, especially as a SM? Is it all from those inside your firm?

KPMG - Kearney partners are W-2 employees who are compensated with a salary and a bonus.

But you have to be an equity holder to have access to the profit bonus pool.

Did you not read the OP? EY and Deloitte partners are not W2 employees. K1, K2.

None of the Big 4, but OP was asking specifically about EY and Deloitte.

Hi fishes, my previous employer has not given me the money for Earned Leaves, they are saying it's not in their policy.. I have a variable bonus of 100000. Out of this they have given only 19,000 in the month of December after 6 months of joining...But they are not giving me any bonus after completing 1 year and 2 months.. They have stopped my appraisal as well...

So in total, I lost my appraisal money, bonus and Earned Leaves money... I feel betrayed and cheated...

What should I do ??

Can anybody tell me what was the increment percentage in fy 22 for each category of rating in manager grade in EY GDS.

Not sure how to proceed with this request. Any tips or insights would be highly appreciated.

Which offer should I pick? All in Chicago:

Protiviti - Tech Consulting (Software Solution practice)
69k
Good work life balance (40 hr a wk) & good culture

EY - FSO Tech Risk Advisory
76k

Deloitte - Financial & Risk Advisory
75k

I like that Protiviti has a better work life balance and the culture seems very friendly but the prestige of Big 4 seems nice too.

PwC partners - One of my biggest takeaways is that Directors aren’t taken care of appropriately in the firm. That includes lack of focus on their mental health, their work-life balance, unreasonable metrics, comp and bonus increases, how cohort progression is managed and transparency about the PCLDE process. This is based on my 4+ yrs as a D and talking to several folks at or outside CLEX. Several of us leave due to this - just sharing this feedback to consider.
