Not lately, thankfully, but I have had to worry about things like that in years past. Not so much a flooding problem as just being ready in case of prolonged power loss. Which didn't happen ultimately, but, it's like the old saying, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
Our entire site lost power and was shut down for several days. Our sister site had major flooding. Fortunately I’m not in a role/industry that is essential for the community or world really.
Yep unfortunately I work right in the storm zone and we were not off work. They made accomodations for us to sleep at the building if we couldn't drive home and needed to because of how bad the rain and flooding were. I am thankful that it is over.
