How to handle the dual employment in BGV? I have a friend who have a overlap of 30-40 days from his last organization which is not disclosed in CV and with current organization. Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. Hi, I’m a commercial architect with 6 years of post-grad experience. And by architect I mean actual architect…I design buildings, not software. Thinking about a pivot because the earning potential is meager while the workload and liability is immense. Thoughts about industries to consider? I am a project lead in charge of design (conceptual through final construction documents), consultant coordination, detailing, project delivery, and construction oversight. Thanks for any input.

Has anyone ever had someone ask about gaps in their portfolio? Ex: they asked about X company on my resume and if I had work to share from them…but I didn’t bc it was all killed/shit work. Feeling a little exposed/weird about it but also, that’s why I left!

I work in a lean team. When it’s me + NSP + a senior partner on the deal, the senior partner refuses to speak to me directly and my work would go up the chain of command. The NSP + senior partner would discuss the rationale for certain positions in the key docs w/o explaining to me or speak to clients directly w/o me, and I’d be asked to send out the revised draft to the opp counsel. When I get calls from opp counsel on tougher points in the drafts, I’m not really able to answer. Is this normal?

How do I lose the gut? It’s been a few years since I switched to brown rice. Should I go the no rice route? Tried intermittent fasting for a while last year and didn’t seem to do too much for weight loss. Alcohol not a big factor, hardly drink once a month.
