HR/LEGAL HELP: I work for a multi-state remote employer. I am doing a classification study of sorts and believe that we may have to reclassify some positions. The impact is moving exempt and salaried positions to non-exempt. This has caused us to consider what states we are/should be hiring from. I've been the first hire in a deep tech startup that is now post series A with a strong outlook. My background is a mix of business and ML and I gravitated to product since I find it easy to understand and explain complex topics.

I've been for along time a jack of all trades, which I like because I enjoy the 0->1 but I don't how I could translate this to a future role since I'm not a pure PM or PMM. Anyone has any similar experience? How do you make yourself marketable from such a role?
