I interviewed for an Associate Director position in Student Life within CUNY. Both interviews went great, especially the last one with the director. I was informed that I would hear back from them within two weeks. Long story short, it's been over two months and I never got a direct follow up as told; however, I see the exact position reposted on multiple sites, including on CUNY. I called HR and they were the ones who informed me that they decided to interview a new pool of candidates.

That’s just big 4 talk hating on the group. Can connect you to many successful women in the practice.
A&M please take me, I'm a lowly first year in audit with big dreams
Not an old boys club at all. I actually think there are more women at the MD/SD/D positions at A&M than I noticed at B4. And a lot of great networking/leadership programs for women to get involved in.
Don’t get me wrong, there are still ways to go in bridging the male-female gap (as there is in all TAS practices), but the firm is working hard at it (70% of incoming intern class is female) among other DE&I initiatives.

^^ facts, it’ll take some time but the firm is moving in the right direction
I’m in TAG and I love it (28-yo woman)
It’s much less of an old boys club than what I experienced at B4 in FDD
Thank you all! Can I please get a referral? I have ~6 years of FDD experience.

So you are trying to come in at the director level?

They’ve hired a lot of women over the last few years, so definitely not a boys club. There are women’s networking, mentoring, training programs. It varies by office tho.
fwiw, my friend in D&I at A&M said his group is like 70% women
Not at A&M but I have noticed an abnormally large amount of women in their group compared to mine, which is basically all men lol

Definitely not a boys club
There are definitely certain MDs that have that kind of culture though
