Well this is gonna be long post.
Working at hybrid model of IT company and PSU company. My employer IT company lost bid and now the contract is of another company. We have been asked that contract over as on 31.7.2022 and we are supposed to go and sit at company office. It's a loss of pay for 100 people on project. Our company said we can't join new bidder company because we signed agreement on offer letter that we won't be joining client for atleast a year. It's inconvenient and crazy for us.

Forensics pays well compared to most areas of finance/accounting, but I’m curious why we don’t charge more and pay closer to law/MC/IB?

Our clients depend on us to win or lose sometimes billions of dollars for them on a given project. We work extensively with financial modeling (IB), exec/client-facing work, presentations, visualizations, slides (MC) and logical arguments, investigation, heavy reading, extensive writing (Law) as well as some tech, stats, data science, and standard accounting

Advice needed: I was hired into my company right after MBA, but not as a part of the official MBA rotational program. My role has a lot of additional responsibilities than those in the program: I manage one person, publish monthly reports, etc. People in the rotational program have much fewer responsibilities (1 big project/6m). I feel like because of the timing of my hire, I’m pegged to a lower title than my job responsibilities. How can I effectively make a case for promotion?

Every PM job posting I see in big tech/FAANG requires a MINIMUM of 5+ years experience, and a large portion even require 7+ years. Most of the associate/rotational PM roles require 3+ years and some require 5+. Yet it seems like every 24 year old I know that went to a target school is now a PM in big tech… am I the only one confused?
