Wondering if 10-20 people can pool together their money to buy a property in UK / USA?
Are there legal structures to support this enterprise? How to ensure continued mortgage contribution from all?

You would need to do it through a legal entity which would severely limit your financing options unless one or a few members of the cohort were extremely credit worthy and willing / able to buy the whole property itself as guarantor. The financier won't be left holding the bag if one member can't pay

helpful

Or 10-20 of you can just pool money and buy it with cash. You would have to pick an area where it appreciates significantly and you are able to rent to someone who will cover interest expense. No need to chase banks for mortgage.

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?

Looking for guidance. I’ve been in people manager roles (in director/senior leader capacity) for the last 5 years now, and prior to that I was a “rockstar” Project Manager. I’ve worked really hard to get to the position I’m in today, but I’ve been recently asked to move from my current role to a senior IC role to take on a highly visible Program for the company, with some very senior stakeholders. I feel conflicted as it does feel like I would be backtracking in many ways. Thoughts?

So I am in a unique situation from a supply chain standpoint. Client has a Make to Order product, with a backlog up to next year so in theory life should be easy. Except the current Supply Chain environment means the amount of past dues are racking up and the production schedule keeps falling wildly behind and catching up because impossible because the schedule is packed at capacity.

I have some ideas to help them, but I would love to find some good reading on MTO best practices and scheduling.

Does anyone else hate medical coding? I got my CPC and loved learned all about it! But once I started actually working in it, I hate it. They talk about how it’s all about translating procedures to numbers. But it’s not! It’s all about Money. All about how much RVUs the codes have so the provider gets the most reimbursement. With how everything is now a days, I feel like a bad person after a day of work. Just me? Was it just a bad employer that I worked for? I feel lost.
