Wondering what most product owners are making? I ask as I’ve had to do tasks outside of a normal PO role, without being compensated. I’d like to learn average salaries to determine what I’m receiving is a good base or not. Thanks!

Need help assess an offer from #PwC. Director of M&A IT (DDV - Deliver Deal Value). The offer has base salary (based on cohort) and sign-up bonus, but does not have the bonus structure for Director level at #PwC. HR lady said that they will give you that when you start. I would like that now (written format). She told me verbally the percentages but I do not recall them. Anyone from #PwC has that info in a PDF document? Much appreciated.

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

Product gym vs product school?

I have about 5 years of PM experience and am looking for a senior PM role in a company that makes ML based products and it's been hard. I've gotten feedback that I seem "really smart" but I'm not a good fit for X role. It feels like a hiring manager saying you seem "really smart" is code for something.

I'm also in the position where I've had real successes but my current role is stagnating to the point where I don't know if I can claim any real big achievement in the last quarter to 6 months.

Hearing a lot of complaints about PM interviews being too onerous and time consuming. Curious what would people consider fair for PM / Sr. PM interview process?

I've typically gone through 2-3 rounds with 6-10 total interviews for mid to large size companies.

What’s your advice when you get hired to a company, and you end up reporting to someone you never interviewed with. And said person is a borderline micromanager.
