Do per hour- it’s good to learn how to keep time as early as possible.

I got paid between 15 and 30 per hour for my law school jobs. Somewhere in the middle is probably a sweet spot

like

Per project

Surely where you are located i.e. cost of living will play a big factor?

What state are you in? I currently pay a 2L $16 in Texas

Thanks. Im in Florida

Per hour is usual. In California, the rate is generally $17-$21/hr depending in a small firm.

I never got paid as an law intern.

Over in Texas most legal research/clerk interns could expect to get paid anywhere from $15-20 an hour.

I always negotiated up to around $18-25 an hour because I am a very good legal researcher. Basically a veteran at this point.

Just started poking around the AICPA website, but would appreciate being able to save some time looking for it. I'm used to a lower % rate than what's being proposed (70% vs 85%) and don't want to cause undue pressure on staff, but do want to give a reasonable billable hours expectation going forward.

Came to the conclusion after reading all the posts in this and other bowls. May be MBB, but if u add pensions, I think B4 is better. Thoughts?

Question: I am on an AE Hiring process. the HR said the salary range is 60k to 70k plus commissions and bonus. I told them, I am looking for 80k, considering my current salary and experience. Do you think usually companies can go high than the salary range, even though they told me the salary was less than I am expecting?

Let’s not lower our hopes looking at US/EU hike %. India is a different market altogether. Also, in US, even a 10-12% hike is actually pretty good with even AC earning like 130k base. For Indian market, % like this doesn’t mean a lot and also, anyone good in technical skills will jump the ship if the % is low this time around.

Hopefully, I’m not wrong or else, 2022 is going to be last year at ZS. Not putting in 60-65 hours/week for an average hike % despite strong reviews.

I picked my current firm because they promised mentoring and substantive feedback. It has been over a year and I’ve helped draft two motions. Instead of redlining and providing comment bubbles, when I got back my drafted sections, they were completely different. My supervisor told this is how they do it and seeing the new version gives me an idea of what the team is looking for. I recognize there is some value to that but that’s just not how I learn. Anyone else experience this? Any advice?!
