What is going on at Deloitte CyberSecurity Practice? The hiring process was so riddled with mistakes I turned them down. I’ve got 3 POS HP laptops sitting here, a sign on bonus 6 weeks before I start, a bill for over payment, 3 coaches, and a 2 month background check that never concluded. How’s life on the inside? Why have unions become so powerless in recent years? A decade ago, the collective bargaining units would get wage increases that matched or exceeded inflationary growth. Now we are lucky to see any positive integer offered.

For in-house counsel roles, does firm prestige matter? For example, would the fact that an applicant is from Sullivan & Cromwell vs, say, White & Case matter at all, or is it much more about experience/interview? Does it matter as much as law school credentials? Assuming a mid-level corporate associate seeking to go in-house.

we're living through an intergenerational transfer of wealth via public markets, during which retail and derivatives trading are both becoming more dominant in the public equity markets.

there is record unemployment. I'm not convinced the high gini index matters (income inequality), but when it does matter, it won't matter how much public equity you own.

I think with the banks plus 3 branches of governments in alignment post trump, we don't have to worry about a '20 or '07/8 style dip.
