Well there’s been a lot of rejection in 2020, but I finally accepted a role at a new employer today. It may not be my “dream” but I believe my possibilities are endless and they are aware of my long-term career goals. Finally some good news after all the negatives the previous year has brought me.

I resigned this morning!
After grinding thanklessly for the past 8 months, getting burnt out, and having nothing to show for it, I’ve decided to walk away.

The company has a toxic culture; which I tolerated but upon resigning their treatment has escalated.

During this 2 week notice, I am expected to present 3 giant proposals (that I also need to produce), and force in about 2 months’ worth of tasks.

Where am I legally as an employee to say I won’t be able to complete all of their requests?

I work in product development and am looking to take my skills to a tech firm (wouldn’t mind working for a startup)

I have 1 year of experience with agile product development and I am severely underpaid.
