Hi - I am pretty sure I will receive an offer for a university HR role paying at least 150K. The recruiter says "everyone here pretty much " works from home. I need a remote position for a number of reasons.. I'm concerned because the job posting says its a hybrid role. I am not that interested in the position itself but the money is great, it is a dir. position and it would advance my career. I'm willing to come in for meetings but hybrid is out of the question. Was laid off in Sept. Unfortunately we will be seeing many more coming. It's what happens in a recession. Unfortunately I now also have my age against me. Not in a mentally good place at the moment.

Less than a year into my role as an analyst in IT audit. Took the role with the hopes of transferring to a finance-focused group and after passing CFA L1 I mentioned this to my coach last week (also hold an MS in Finance, FWIW).

He said we should move on this quickly and to send him over a few projects / teams I’d want to work with.

If I would eventually like to find myself in IB, is my best bet to try transferring into the valuations group and also, how should I frame my outreach?!
