I miss going to the office and feeling fresh and awake

Guuurl same. I’ve been trying to wake up earlier to workout (tho I workout at home) but don’t know why it’s been so hard. I used to get up for 5:15am workouts pre-pandemic and just getting out of bed before 7 now is a struggle 😅. For me coffee/pre-workout with caffeine really helps

like

It’s all about starting small to form a habit! Don’t kill yourself on the first day. Just try to wake up early and do a light workout. Then try to do it again. Not everyone values working out and that’s okay too. I find it makes me feel way better throughout the day though if I do even a little in the morning and I cannot find the motivation after work.

Get a good sleep routine. Got to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Start turning down lights off a couple hours before bed. Turn tech off 45mjn before bed and start getting into sleepy mode.

Oh my 🤧

Op, it might be vitamin D deficiency.

They say to just start waking up 15 mins earlier every day until you get to where you want to be! Plus, sleeping with your curtains open helps a ton rn (if you’re in the northern hemisphere) because your body more naturally wakes up with the sun. I was sleeping until like 8-8:15 during a lot of the pandemic and but last month and a half been up at at least 6:30 every day. Also I personally don’t like it Bc it gives me anxiety but I know others have success with using preworkout or a Celsius drink to get your energy up before a workout. Maybe not advisable in the evening and probably not the healthiest way to do it but it could help

like

On the preworkout topic - I used to drink Celsius or preworkout before every workout and when I went in for my annual physical I had very elevated liver enzymes and it all turned out to be from the preworkouts. That stuff isn’t FDA approved and can truly cause some major damage to our livers :/ safe to say I stick to a banana or coffee/tea now.

So wfh guidance is to be scrapped. Should we expect companies to ask employees to go back to the office? Will Deloitte's "work from home forever" plan still be possible?

I'm still wondering why the commercial real estate sector hasn't collapsed. Two years in it's clear WFH is here to stay-at most I could see some companies implementing a hybrid schedule. Regardless, the real estate footprint will be much smaller. Are building owners just trying to keep up appearances by maintaining high rents? It doesn't make sense to me.
