See a therapist. You may need medication. This happened to me during a divorce, and I went on low grade meds for one month which knocked it out. And saw therapist to build more ability to process and cope. Meditation also useful.
Def see a psychiatrist or psychologist ASAP. After a lengthy career, something changed and my body became much more sensitive to stress, leading to quite a few anxiety attacks. Lots of vomiting before meetings and during tough weeks. Went on small doses of meds and it’s helped.

Meditate or breathing exercises in the morning help me manage stress immensely during the day. Being aligned before you get hit by even the smallest things help you come back to a centered state of mind and recover faster. Invest some time in seeking out a therapist, maybe ask around some trustworthy coworkers for recommendations. Sometimes you can find some practices that are familiar with the advertising world in some sense. Take care of yourself and take the time you need. No project is worth it in the long run ♥️
This has been happening to me too, I have dissociative episodes almost daily, and sometimes up to 3x daily. I’ve been working with my therapist to try to deal with this but they recommend taking a longer period of time off, which I’m putting in place. Highly recommend seeking some help in the form of therapy or psychiatry and taking time off. If you can afford it, travel for a bit to clear your head. A change of pace may be just what you need. Hope you feel better soon!
Agree with all the posts above. In the moment during the attack, I've found if I concentrate on the smallest things, like feeling my toes wiggle in my shoes or your tongue on your teeth, it pulls you out of the downward spiral and back to reality
Take some time off ASAP. Your mental health and YOU are more important than any job.
Whatever you gotta do ti put mental health first. Pause, therapist, new job, whatever it takes. You new job is to feel mentally healthy!! Much luv
Definitely recommend taking a day or two off - you need time away from the irritant or the irritation will get worse, you know? Also agree with everyone that talking to a mental health professional helps and they can likely introduce you to mental frameworks to handle these trigger moments. And when I feel anxiety welling up, I go for a walk if possible and take some deep breaths. Also recommend cutting caffeine if you haven’t already.
I agree with all these suggestions. Listen to your fishes and take care of yourself.
Thanks all, appreciate the advice and support 💕💕💕
Slightly helpful find for me has been the #selfcare app. It’s a sort of meditative game that forces you to slow down to unlock goals with some calming, pretty and enjoyable enough mini-games. The tone is a little woo-woo, but maybe try it to see if it would help. Especially until you’re able to get a real solution in place. Aloe Bud is another one you may want to look into, but it’s more a tool for remembering to take care of yourself than a tool for actually doing it.
