Work is slow , I’m over sleeping 💤 so I’m just need get on a better schedule ?

I used to be like this but I started walking 10 mins a day and slowly increased by 5 mins every day until I reached 1 to 2 hrs of walking every day. You would be surprised at how this one small activity improved multiple facets of my life. I had better moods and had quality 8 to 9 hrs of sleep and no more.


That makes sense I’ve def been slacking during the week with exercise which I think is def not helping /)

I haven’t been diagnosed but have suspected for a while something is up. I have been pretty unmotivated for years even though I was a high performer. Currently feel as if my career is going sideways/backwards and struggle to really get any motivation to do something about it. I know I need to switch jobs because my current employer lied about compensation and my development is not happening. Any tips on what may be going on or how to overcome?


25 but i feel like my city is suffocating me.. and I ready for new experiences or am i just running away from my problems?


My job is exasperating my depression, especially recently. I’ve been taking on some new responsibilities (or rather forced to take on) and I have no clue what I’m doing and 0 help from anyone. No one wants to rescue an ogre. It’s been almost three decades, no one has ever loved me aside from my parents. Men won’t even look at me. When I go out on dates, there’s never a second. I’ve never been in a real relationship. However much I love myself, it doesn’t cover up the hurt of being unwanted


So basically you’re great at work and suck at life either or but you can’t do both. Over the past 16 months I’ve lost my girlfriend/best friend and other close friends and grown distant from family.


What does it feel like to not be depressed? I’ve been working with my therapist and have gradually been feeling better and better. Lately I find myself having more energy than I know what to do with and feeling a lot of joy for just being alive. It’s so foreign to me that I doubt this feeling all the time. Is this what someone without depression feels?!


My therapist just told me I'm you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

If nothing else, teach yourself how to get through a bad night. Sleep. Read. Binge watch a TV show. On your worst nights, have a plan of how to keep yourself safe, even if that means avoiding thinking


Does anyone else have some friends that are so negative that they bring you down with their negative thoughts? I have one that only texts me when he has some kind of problem or to complain about....
