Worked from home today and was lucky enough to see my youngest son take his first steps!

How do you guys establish credibility when you’re new to a firm/team? I get treated like a kid because of how young I look. I need people to take me seriously and stop treating me like the intern.

Interviewed with firm. Crazy close to home. Firm does my specialty. Seems like a good fit (I have ptsd from previous firms so gun shy). I think I got low balled salary wise. Like $25k less than what I am making now. I would have 4+ years more experience than any of their associates. Their most senior associate has like 4 kids and has a stay at home wife. I find it hard to believe they are paying that associate as low as they offered me. Probably going to counter but would it be wrong to compare
