Just got an offer for a remote role at a company where everyone will be transitioning to in person soon and I'd be one of the only remote people. This gives me pause and I'm worried about how progression and interaction will work. Any tips for evaluating the opportunity?

Has anyone been hired to be a fully remote associate or work at a firm that has hired fully remote associates? I’m contemplating the move but am concerned about the lack of face time with partners and concerned I’ll be seen as a second class citizen to the associates who are there in person.

What is total comp model for an MD? Are they “part owners,” of the company?

I have no idea what I want to do. I have a good job, make good money, but honestly money is all I care about. I don’t have any allegiance to my firm or any particular industry. I just want to make a lot of money as fast as I can and then retire. I get through most days just fine but sometimes it all feels so pointless. Anyone else?

Need advice, Got offered a director product strategy role at a SaaS just turned unicorn. The base salary same as current, and equity plan 30% higher than my current bonus. In practical terms I should be well off cash wise in my current role, but the lure of pre-IPO equity is the question I am still pondering about. 5 YOE and currently making $250K TC. Having an advanced degree is always something that has been in the back of my mind, but I am not that excited by MBA recruiting opps in general. Bad decision to forego or do an EMBA instead? Losing out on $700K+ (tuition + opportunity cost of 2 years of pay) just seems like a tough sell but hoping for other perspectives.
