Been in your shoes. Remember that we are in a creative industry, and anxiety kills creativity. If you can't win your manager over then you have to go.
Def speak to hr to see if a switch can be made. Don't bad mouth them to colleagues. Even friends in the agency. Be positive but move quickly behind the scenes to get@out
This happened to me for the first time after 13 years of working. It was HORRIBLE!! The manager was disliked by all so it wasn't me or about me. I left. It's the only solution. HR can't do anything and it would be obvious to everyone why you wanted to switch. As the saying goes, people don't leave jobs/companies, they leave bad bosses.
Going through the same thing. Find a new job because if their manager thinks they are great, you are toast
If you work at a larger shop and they value you, they'll try to find you another team. But you get one shot at this.
Fuck em, employment is at will, slavery was abolished centuries ago, u do what u want, where u want (within legal limits)
Change jobs, that's it. Not worth it.
Xanax
Get a new manager either from within or another agency. Heart attacks are no bueno.
