If i do 1 year post graduation diploma certificate course from canada (online or offline) and at the same time I do a full time job in canada of 40 hours/week (may be few months diffrence but they will be overlaping). Can I put both of them in PR application?
Are you happy with your company’s women leadership programs? I have just switched jobs, and the new place has nothing in place internally although markets it as something they could help their clients with, which to me seems hypocritical. Also, on the c-suite team there are 5 older males and one female, all white. This is a global organization. I guess I’m super disappointed and have not realized how important it is to me until I joined a place that doesn’t care about it. What would you do?
Hey all. I've always struggled w/ articulating/prioritizing my thoughts. Things make sense in my head, but as I speak I think, wow I'm gonna sound dumb, how can I change it! And now I'm stuck in the

As an experienced hire at BCG, is 1 year too short of a stint to have an impact on exit ops?
Has anyone joined NAB from ANSR recently.
I received an offer from them for the Gurgaon office but I am not sure if I must join. If anyone joined please share your experience there till now, the work environment and the team you are working with. This will be a great help for me to decide. Thanks in advance.
Am I the only one realizing the big four are the the big four of the WORLD? As in, I work for the world's second biggest auditing firm 😂😂 that sounds extra special and I'm just geeking out
I have been working as a marketing manager at a tech startup for 5 years and decided it’s time for me to see how other companies are working. I accepted a new job offer (40% salary increase) but the start up is really struggling to find someone to organize their main events. This would only take me max 5hrs/week. I decided to freelance for them as I can use the extra. How much does a campaign/event marketing manager charge per hr. as a freelancer? What is the norm for setting rates?

For those of you that did elective egg freezing, when did you do it and how many eggs did you freeze? Have you used them and how many did you need to get embryos? Trying to gauge how many cycles I should do.
Is anyone here a member of Chief? If so, how long have you been a member? I would like to get an understanding of the programming? How has it had a positive impact on your career? How is it different from similar organizations/programs? For those that are BIPOC women, do you feel it supportive of your issues?
Need some unfiltered feedback here. Only female MD / partner at my firm (male dominated, good ole boy industry to boot). I am dealing with what I hate to call sexism (I do think it’s unintentional) with my peers, getting left out of decisions that I shouldnt be / forgotten about for after work team building events (like hey guys, let’s go to the basketball game or to beers). It makes it hard for me to build the same level of relationships and gain respect of others in the firm. Any tips?🤞🏼<cont>
My group merged with another business unit and I gained a few direct reports. I just found out that two make about 10-15% more than I do. Any recommendations on how to diplomatically bring this up with my boss?
I’m so tired of being spoken down to today. Every call today men have been speaking to me like I’m their daughter. It feels like I’m getting a pat on the head. I am good at what I do and have earned my place. I am supposed to be their peer. I wish they wouldn’t waste my time if they don’t value my opinion. I’m sure as hell not going to take their notes. It feels like this is becoming more frequent as I go higher in my career…or maybe it’s where I’m at now. Just needed to vent.
Any great podcasts or books you would recommend? Specifically on leadership/business communication skills/ being a part of the “boys club” or better yet- breaking up the boys club!
My younger sister has recently got engaged to a complete loser (who has previously cheated on her and been aggressive towards her). My parents are, for some bizarre reason, going along with it. I know I can only give her my advice and then let her get on with her life, but I don’t want to go to the wedding. My mum is now giving me ultimatums like ‘if you don’t go, we won’t see you for Christmas’. I can’t stomach going to the wedding- I just don’t know what to do
How do you respond to political conversations at the C-Suite level? People's opinions seem to get stronger the higher up they go and I'd rather not get involved but seems like it's part of the program for executives.
I’m coordinating a virtual leadership summit for our women’s group at work. Any external speakers that you’ve really enjoyed recently? I don’t currently have a specific topic in mind, but looking for something that will really spark interest. The age range of audience is generally 30-55 and predominantly female. I would give preference to a WOC. I’m looking to spend under$15k, so not looking for any real big names.
What are different ways that you incorporate self-care and wellness into your day? I'm looking to move beyond the box of just workouts and drinking enough water, to offer myself some more support.

i can’t believe it’s been a whole year since the pandemic. how is everyone doing? work? personal life?
I have a senior director who needs a PIP. Plan was to meet w him today to start phase I (formal Learning Plan). Got a Teams msg middle of the night that he's in ER w gma. Ordinarily, I'd wait a few days at least, but the performance issues are real, have been going on (despite feedback and support) for months, and impact rest of team. He has issues w health, family, etc. at least monthly. I've worked hard to build a warm, supportive team and struggling now. Would appreciate ideas!

How has it been pitching business or clients virtually? i would love some help making our remote meetings and new business pitches more energetic. it gets stale so quickly. would love tips and recos.
I’ve been struggling with this, in part because it happened to me in a previous role & I’m trying to leave it behind. I was managing a diverse team which had two white males on it. I recall during my first few wks, whenever I stated something in a meeting 1 of the white males would re-explain what I just said really rapidly, almost in a manic sort of way.The other white male would get really sassy (not how else to describe this) with me at times. Needed to get that out. Thanks for reading
Hi all - any tips on how to negotiate a salary offer? I’ve never done it before. I’ve always accepted jobs out of desperation - but not this time! I gave them a 5k difference in range. They met me at the higher end of my range, which is great! But as a woman, I know we tend to not ask for more. I don’t want to make that mistake.
Would love to hear others experiences and tips - any insight would be so helpful!
It happens so rarely, I want to document it here: right now, at this moment, life has hit the balance. My schedule for this week is not unmanageable. My teams are excited and I see growth. My kids are happy and thriving in their communities. My husband and I had a rare “date” last night. It’s Sunday and I have a full day ahead of me to do what I want. The sun is shining. My body doesn’t hurt. Thank you, Lord - and please let this continue for at least one more week. O
My company is being acquired and I’m currently looking for an open Chief of Staff positions. Any recommendations?

no offense - but 2 partners can more than afford to build out 2 offices in your house with some distance/sound proofing
Take as many calls as you can on walks. It really helps. Even if it’s just one a day, I find the moving while working kind of cathartic and you get a break from each other. I take notes in my notes app if I’m on the go.
Same boat, my husband and I are both partners at my firm. In some ways it’s nice to have a spouse who gets it, but overall, it creates a lot of stress! We at least work on different floors of our house, but that doesn’t really help that much lol.
I agree. Even in large homes you still hear each other. At least we do in my case
Yes it totally makes sense. Is there any way you can find a cheap place to work outside of the office or dedicate some space in the house as a no-work zone? Otherwise, I would try and see if you can find a schedule that allows you to have some breaks at the same time.
Makes me feel good to know there are other ladies that are sharing this burden of stress. Although I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It’s wonderful that we’re both partners but the stress at our level can get very overwhelming. I can hear his calls and I can hear his voice getting elevated and I hear the frustration and the big sighs!! I feel like I live and breathe every phone call that he has an every meeting I have
Same boat - 2 partners in our house. My husband is happy to be back in the office. I go in 2 days a week, he goes in 3-4 days a week. At home, we sit on different floors in different places, but he is so loud lol… and is much higher stress. Makes it a lot better for us to be back to the office though. Then it’s kind of nice when we are home.
Haha my husband is sooo loud too!!!
Not to minimize the stress you are feeling as consulting work can be rough. Hopefully you can carve out enough space (even if that means a quick break outside) to not share his stress.
However, having worked the majority of my career in consulting, many events consultants regard as “emergencies” are often not, in the big picture of things. Just sayn.
I’m stressed treading this 😫😰. Maybe you guys need to take turns going to the office.
😁 we are all human. Including typos! I do it all the time
Understandable. In addition to separation, may need to find ways to tune out his work energy. Maybe noise cancelling headphones and classical or spa music
Same same. He works upstairs in his office. I work at the downstairs at the dining room table. Voices carry up and down the stairs. I feel worse when kids are home for summer and hear it too and say things Like “wow the people you work with are dumb” or “what did x person do to make you so mad.” First world problems I know but it’s taxing. All the same, neither of us are eager to go back to weekly travel.
I know what you mean it feels like I’m working two jobs I carry the stress of his job and mine at the same time. The stress of our meetings permeate through everyone in the house
I totally get this and can relate. Thankfully my husband and I are both in the office now!
