Working in Japan and as with many companies here, the company I just joined is also very waterfall-based approach + business side having a huge say on everything (tech/PMs are just quiet). It’s just a lot of rambling with slow progress; we’re already behind schedule. Any good way to change this culture/ advices?

Instead of quiet quitting, I decided just to quit my job! No backup role, only savings.
Toxic culture, poor work-life balance, terrible leadership, it was just a mess. But I can't say this in interviews.

Any advice on how I can talk about my experience positively as I look for new opportunities? The reality is it wasnt a good fit, so I chose my mental health and decided to bet on myself, but somehow, it seems this is not a good enough response.

My four year old daughter is terrified of using public restrooms because of the loud automatic flush. I heard one unicorn CEO saying that it's a sign that they aren't productive/aren't managing things properly in their business or philosophy. But I feel like hard work is just sometimes a trade off for fitness, and that seems a bit of a singular perspective.
