I'll be honest that's a low I've never been to

Hope you're saving lives!

It happens. Try not to let it happen often. Good luck guys.

Whats the situation? Due diligence? Steer co on monday?

I feel you

Same boat 😭

Where u at OP? LA?

You're LA EY? What time are you staying until

Worked until 3am on the client site on Saturday morning this week... Client was also there until 1 am....

You're an idiot.

But why

Definitely can happen especially in certain types of consulting. Best of luck.

I fell asleep LOL

Project closing out. Have to submit integration plan. Kill me haha

We did a huge deployment two years ago during Labor Day weekend- took us whole 3 days due to massive data migration. It was no fun!

They only expect this behavior to take place because you guys are saying yes to it. If everyone said no the culture would shift and you would not have to work these shameful hours!!! 🤔

Lmao or uhhh other outcome: get my ass fired a2 😂😂

Nothing worse than being sick in a hotel room

People out there building “skills” when the only skill i build during wfh is staying awake longer and longer...

For SAs (Seniors, Senior Analyst, Senior Associate) that have made exits in this hot market - what are the exit ops that you got?

Deloitte Advisory's hiring freeze??

Anyone at doordash willing to chat about a role? Thank you

I keep reading all these posts about firms laying off a ton of people. Can someone explain what happens after one gets laid off? Like do they just fire you and that's it? What happens to the pay? Etc.

An associate and I were performing an annual review of the vendor. The vendor rep happened to be a director level and wasn’t familiar with our process. He said a redacted pentest report wasn’t needed to prove that his company is secure. At the same time, he didn’t give us any additional info as a form of compensating control either. After escalating to management, he went on a call and said we were very hostile and unprofessional (while everyone had access to email chain and it was courteous)

Should I mention that I started a new role 2 months ago if I’m starting to interview at other consulting firms again?

Have been having random bouts of lower back pain that take about a week to clear up - haven’t had any major documented back injuries but have been sitting a lot with WFH. Any tips from folks around WFH equipment, stretches or exercise that helps with this? I’m going to my primary care phys next week just to get a confirmation that it’s not something more serious

Question - anyone know the consulting talent role progression at Impact Advisors? What are Deloitte Senior Manager and MD equivalent roles called?

I’m an island boyy

What is the best way to maximize credit card rewards (which cards do you recommend and for what)

L.E.K. Consulting vs EY-Parthenon Joining as a Manager - pros and cons in terms of $$, wlb, exit opps (non PE)

Every time I interview and get rejected I asked for feedback but I always get a response saying they can’t give me feedback or they just don’t respond at all. How am I supposed to improve if I don’t even know what I’m doing wrong? Are there any inexpensive interview prep services I can try moving forward?

Is a Canada Goose jacket a good Christmas gift for my wife? Is it overpriced for what it is worth? Are there better options at the same price point? Asking consulting 🐠 because you guys give best advice ❤️

Interested in moving to different country office. Any advice how to go about it?

I have been trying to get a job a Google for years and regularly stalk their openings / who they end up hiring for the role to try to get relevant experience. I just looked and they hired a Starbucks barista for a role that I’ve applied to several time. Please excuse me while I scream and then immediately submit an application for a new part time job.
