What exactly does JPM DIB do?
I have attended 2 Tech rounds and 1 Managerial round for Deloitte. Later said that i have cleared all 3 rounds. But the panel is expecting one client interview. By yesterday it was a week. Still I didn't get any update reg my final selection. (Hr discussion did not happen) Can I still hope for final Selection? If anyone had this case before or knows anything. Please share your reviews.

Depending on how desperate you are for the job, I would be blunt. Their response will tell you if you really want to work there. Because you don’t want to be sneaking off at 6 or made to feel bad about WLB and WFH.
Yup. And by blunt I didn’t mean rude, just direct. “I’m very interested in the offer, and I wanted to know what the WFH policy is” (follow-up with your request). And ask if there are ways the agency actively supports WLB. Something like that. Their response will tell you tons. I work for an extremely family/WLB-friendly company and they would be absolutely thrilled to answer that question.
Not to be Debby Downer, but I don’t know if I’d say you want to work from home once a week to be closer to her. Is she going to have a nanny while you’re doing that, or are you thinking you’d watch her and try to work one day a week (that’s how I would interpret that request)? I think a stronger argument would be “Especially while she’s this young, I’d like to wfh one day per week so that I can be sure to be with her in the morning and night before she’s sleeping at least once a week since I won’t have to commute. But during work hours, I’ll be working 100% from my home office.”
Be transparent. If they react negatively it’s not the right company for you
Yes to above. If they balk, don’t take the job. That’s a terrible sign of what’s to come
I’ve wondered how to navigate this as well because it seems like asking about the WLB translates to them like I don’t want to work hard. Certainly not the case, I just want to know that boundaries are respected.
