Working moms who are remote: can you walk us through a typical day. I'm having a rough time getting everything done on a daily basis especially with interrupted sleep. Will these sleep regressions ever end???

Wow pwc that sounds like an industry job and not like consulting, what work do u do

Co sleep and get a peace of mind.

Up at 6am, pump, get ready for day, get kids up and do daycare run between 7-8am. Work 8 to 5 with 3 15min pumping breaks, use "lunch" to do a load of laundry. Kids home 515...diner, playtime outside, 645 baby bed time, toddler tv time then shower books and bed once baby is asleep. Dishes, laundry and bed in short order. There is always something else to do, but it can wait for another day.

@D1 system implementations
It has been possible with setting boundaries and a very supportive team. Don't get me wrong there will come a day very soon where I am back on the road 4 days, until then it is about making the most of it while I can be remote.

Anyone else kinda enjoying the wfh/lack of pressure to go out? I got a pay cut, I’m working harder than ever and things are uncertain but I can’t help but feel relieved to not be so emotionally drained. Maybe it’s because I’ve been doing a lot of emotional labor for others? 😬

Hi All, I’m the bowl owner here, just wanted to mention that we are 50 members strong, hence I though we can do an anonymous introduction to mention where do you work, and where do you live… and what do you expect out of living in Pune city in terms of your career.

About myself, am working as a project manager in Citi, though I have moved to Mumbai from Pune during COVID to find a better opportunity here, I wish to move back to Pune in near future for better WLB and opportunities.

Does anyone here work at Ameriprise financial? If so, would you recommend it? What is the work life balance like? I have an interview for a Advisory trading specialist role. Thanks!

Is IB worth the sacrifice of WLB? Obvious pay is really good but are the prestige and pay worth it if you’re planning on only doing it for a couple years?

Currently working at an IRA with great WLB. Honestly I love my job, the firm, and people I work with.

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.

Anyone have an SO who is a healthcare worker? The two places where my bf works as an OT is having a Covid outbreak (despite all being vaccinated/boosted) and I can’t decide if I should hold off on hanging out with him. Same exact scenario as last year - last January he contracted Covid in between vaccinations and thankfully I made the decision not to spend time with him during the last outbreak as a precaution. Sucks. Can’t decide what to do. Already dealt w/ 2 quarantines b/c of his kid

How likely is google to change its stance on returning to the office? I’m evaluating 2 offers right now - both are very similar (pay, job function, etc.) except google is in-office. I’m so comfortable at home and can spend more time cooking and exercising when I’m not commuting. Google is obviously a better brand than my other offer, but I’m not sure if that is enough to make it worth it.

Do you all think I should put open rates and CTRs on my resume for email marketing? I'm a copywriter (obvs) and trying to show results.

And what would be rates worth bragging about? (I have looked up the average rates but not sure if I should include analytics if it's just above average. Like say 35% for open rates and 4% for CTR.)

Hi! I started at a new company 2 months ago and while I’m really enjoying my job so far, I’m having a hard time gauging whether or not I’m doing a “good job.” My role seems to be always evolving, which is fine and I actually enjoy being a support to the greater marketing team, but I feel like I need better defined targets to make sure I’m meeting expectations. Also, when I ask my boss what they’d like to see, I don’t ever get a clear answer. (Cont’d in comments)
