McKinsey & Company As a leader in cyber, one of my aspirations is to increase the diversity of any organization that I am a part of.
For example…When I was in Big4, I referred several diverse candidates who are thriving & now, at McKinsey & Company, I set a personal goal to refer 1 diverse candidate, especially in (but not necessarily exclusive to) cyber/tech/IT, for every month of my tenure.

Ever notice how it’s usually a white person talking abt how diversity goes beyond what’s visible? How abt we try for visible diversity first & then we try to find diffs in similar-looking ppl’s bios 🤷🏾♀️
Is there a diversity and inclusion board? Interested in doing some market intelligence to understand how other companies are retaining diverse talent at all levels. Or if there are external@forums let me know, many thanks!

So I'm a single dad, which I feel can be tough sometimes - doesn't fit with gender norms. It's the professional equivalent of not having baby changing stations in the mens room.
Damn, Trump just told our firm to stop diversity trainings or give up those federal contracts. Dude is straight evil.
Given the challenge of gender equality for clients and firms, how do you personally plan to change this for both your industry and those of your clients? Do you see this as a priority?
Hey team! I've been thinking about what success would mean in terms of this platform and general inclusion in the team. These are some of my thoughts:
1. Frequency of positive engagements (positive in a productive, constructive sense)
2. Increasing numbers of people engaging in each topic as they get more comfortable using the tool and airing their opinions
3. Some measure outside the app of team engagement in day to day interactions (changes in psychological safety)
What are your thoughts?
This might be a silly question:
Looking for a room mate and place on Craigslist, some people don’t have their names. How would I ask what’s their name or gender or even nationality, without coming off as rude? Like I want to know who I am talking to. I am a Male and have no preference who I live with as far as gender or nationality.
Hello! Does anyone know of any openings for diversity and inclusion drivers/promoters in India? I joined as an HR analyst at Accenture as a fresh graduate 3 months ago but this is not really the role I was looking for. I have quite a lot of experience in diversity and inclusion related themes. Any leads/suggestions/advice would be appreciated!
The husband has a cushy state job, barely works 40 hours a week making $70k. I work too many hours and pass out at night trying to get my 2 yo to go to bed. Every morning when I wake up, the husband bitches about how I "don't cuddle with him at night" and I seriously want to punch his face and leave the house. He helps around the house a lot, but never understands what I deal with at work. Any advice? Please help me.
To the people who are part of LGBTQ+, how do you approach the same gender? I recently realised I might be bisexual because of certain recent events and I am not ready to come out yet but I am curious and want to explore.
My spouse works for a company and team where one gender dominates the workforce. Think 90%+. On team calls, i hear my spouse openly mocking his/her direct manager in front of a someone that reports to my spouse, saying that the direct manager is new, inept, provides illogical statements, “you know [him/her]… always illogical” etc. i think this is a dangerous behavior since, if this someone was to share this with the manager, i think it would do great damage. Am i overstepping my boundary
Thanks for making this bowl all gender inclusive. The other bowl simply was outdated and lacked any kind of diversity whatsoever at all.
If you're negotiating a start date with a new firm and you need to give your current firm 2 weeks and want some time to yourself before starting, but you already have a vacation planned in the early fall, is it an issue to take 2-3 weeks before starting as long as you're clear that you have a pre-planned trip?
Can one retire early as a Partner say around 55 instead of 60? How will it impact pension benefits?

Just applied to Google for two PM roles, and a sourcer reached out two days later about next steps. How should I best prep for this call? Also, I am fairly junior so I have large imposter feelings for a role like this, that feels like it requires more experience than I have
Need ideas for my moms bday gift… she is so picky. She really into high end designer stuff. She is a younger more modern type of mom and not into the lovey DIY shit. My budget is $400 though so can’t really go crazy. Any ideas?

I took unisom for a week to avoid jet lag while traveling, and now I'm off it completely to not become dependent... And boy is it difficult to get even two good night's sleep in a row. Any tips on consistently sleeping better when you're trying to get off sleep aids?
(my sleep history this week: the one big night in the middle was the night I got back from the trip, and every night after that I haven't taken it)
Anybody knows what 'give back program' at IBM is about? Is it mandatory and does it have any significance or a waste of time ?

Does a masters from Harvard Extension School come with the same perks, open the same doors as regular Harvard? I’m guessing there’s always going to be a difference but seems like a good deal (it’s cheaper than some state schools) with a semi-prestigious datapoint to add to the resume? Would love to hear from folks who’ve done it.
