Hey I was in same org since 2013. Studied and coded hard literally day and night for upskilling. I was not confident if I would get any offer. Gave my first interview after college placement almost 10 to 11 years (was selected in 3rd yr). Got selected in the first interview. Resigned after 1st offer. I am giving very less interviews as I dont want to hold too many offers and make recruiters lives difficult. Still holding 4 offers(very specific organizations that I targetted). Today I got my dream salary(what I targetted will be perfect) with permanent WFH. This is the first month after resigning. I know I can go higher and higher and but I have decided to stop my search. But the measage is if I can do it you can too.

Same here buddy. Working in TCS since 2013 and was happy with team & everything. Until economy and unexpected financial situation slapped me to wake up. Currently at 9.1 yrs of exp getting 9.2 LPA 🤦. After coming into fish Bowl realised how big mistake to be loyal and being in comfort zone. Started my job search from 2020 very few calls but I'm still trying..

I was in same situation half year back.
I toiled for 2-3 months like anything, reached out to senior who taught me things I didn't even perform but had to have on my resume for current YOE.
I read and reread and prepared for those topics and clarified doubts about it. And repeated the process again. Until I could recite it even in my sleep. I also started focusing on the things I already know and remembering miute details like even a popup and reason behind doing anything. I learnt oracle through YouTube. Perfected many things by jumping into error logs of the services I admin, full on with determination to change my situation.
By 4 months of preparation I was able to secure a measly 50% hike offer on current fixed CTC. Now 60 days of notice period have passed and I have 201% hike offer. And I am still not done yet.
I used to spend sleepless nights getting up in middle of night to prepare for interview, but now it's all peaceful.
Optional: Start your day with a YouTube video called 'Dream' by channel 'Mateusz M' I think. I cried every morning seeing it and when it ended I was filled with this good energy to do something to improve my situation rather than feeling sad about it.
Also see the Al Pacino speech of 'any given sunday', the words motivate you like anything.
YOU CAN MAKE IT. WANT IT AS BAD AS YOU WANT TO BREATHE.

Spend 3 months on YouTube videos studying and preparing notes on your technical skills and then start looking for a switch.
Giving your career a boost.. is 3 months too much?
On the same boat like you brother...
But i am passionate enough to switch now.
Giving interviews from last 4 months...
I will crack one
I understand the notice period is major roadblock.
But if you start giving interviews, you'll get to know what kind of expectations are there.
You can prepare accordingly.
For initial offer go with basic hike.
All the best.
Hey, first find the job, make your side secure
Than give the resign.
No need for the savings.🙂
You should start searching for a new organisation, but What I believe is reference would work much effectively. So along with fetching new opportunities, look for references. All the best in advance
