I had a pretty negative experience at 21 Club in Manhattan-- the food's fine, but the decor is... let's just say... not gender neutral. Maybe not the best for first impressions with new clients

Client insisted we go to Applebee’s. He ordered for everyone but only items he has coupons for and then would not leave me alone until I tried part of his dinner...

Many years ago Sammy’s Rumanian on the lower East Side of New York. Think it is gone. Their key attraction was putting a bottle of vodka in a frozen block of ice on each table.

I've had pretty bad experiences at every single restaurant I've been to within walking distance of Grand Central

The Ivy London was pretty bad. Insufficient gravy on turkey and dry potatoes!

Not to sound snobby but... Peter Luger’s brunch.

Haha no. Someone else must have agreed!

Our office had frequent happy hours at Texas Land and Cattle- think of a rustic chili’s

How has your experience been with the friendliness of interviews? Is it easy to connect or does it feel like a transaction (question then answer). Have they been friendly overall or hard to read? I’m really sad over two bad interviews and I don’t know if it’s me not being engaging enough or just the style of the interview :(

Currently make $65k (total comp excluding bonus around ~$74k) as a GP accounting analyst in NYC. I'm four years out of college (liberal arts major lol...) and prior to this role I did two years at a bank in fund onboarding. I don't have a CPA or anything like that & I've only taken the SIE. Realistically, can I ask for a raise this year? I've been at the same salary level since late 2017 :/
