Live in nyc at least once. Then leave before you become a self-absorbed lifelong renter with purple hair and a vegan cat.

Living in NJ will make a huge difference in your take home pay come tax season. City tax is a killer.

likefunny

City tax is 3%. If you make enough for that to be a lot of money, you also make enough for it to not matter.

NYC. I’d take any non-Staten Island borough over NJ.

Bronx > Hoboken?????

Depends on your circumstances

Such a lawyer answer 🤣

I like NJ better, Hoboken area and I’m originally a NYer 🤷🏾‍♀️ it’s just quieter

like

Many parts in Manhattan are dead quiet if you like that (I do). Those neighborhoods tend to be very pricey

If you could afford it, there are plenty of reasons why the city is a better option if you work here.

But it also obviously depends on your lifestyle. Are you a young single professional or married with kids?

Your question needs much more context

It all depends... what kind of urine smell do you like?

Live in FL for most of the year, then actually in New England for ski season. I’m always traveling. I rarely make it back to NYC these days, and rent out the bottom floor of a duplex I own there. Still have what is basically a crash pad/office when I am there, which is not often.

Brokkies live in nj and us rich folks lounge in nyc. Which are you op?

That is a bit of a Hobson’s Choice, but I’d say NYC, though which borough is another question.

NYC

This question is asked weekly, use the search function. It’s also the NYC bowl so more will prefer NYC

NJ
