Absolutely not. Negotiate for more money or decline and make the move when you have more experience and can demand more.

Nah. We're great, but you should be asking for at least a 15% hike for a horizontal move unless you hate your life at BAH.

Not a big enough raise. If you consider the difference in their 401k match, you're switching for almost nothing

I just left BAH for this same job at Deloitte 😂, but it was a 23% percent jump for me. Guess I was really underpaid.

like

1) SC at BAH is equivalent to the consultant level here at D. 2) You’ll also get a bonus...

Thanks everyone. Negotiating for more and waiting to hear back. Hopefully all works out

Agree with @D2 - at least a 15% raise or it’s not worth leaving until you find a place that will give you that

Desperately trying to find a job where I can be paid what I'm worth. I honestly feel as though college was a waste given the fact that I am only making $55k/year and I have 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting. I feel like I can't catch a break or get my foot in the door. Every job seems like it's going to be a great stepping stone but it hasn't gotten me anywhere. At this point I want to be able to provide for my family and not want to kill myself when at work (remote preferably). Help!

Crypto is a bubble. My friend at Schwab gets calls about Bitcoin from 85 year old ladies who have no idea what it is. My waiter yesterday ranted how cap gains was gonna crush new crypto millionaires who never had money. There are too many people who know nothing about the asset, putting in free fed dollars they can’t afford to lose. Beware

I am currently covering for someone on paternity leave. This means I've doubled the Sales Managers I'm supporting as well as the clients I'm supporting. I don't mind doing the work but I'd like to ask to be compensated for the increased workload. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you go about it? I'm relatively new to Tech so I'm not sure how to start the conversation.

Is there a good way to repair ties with in house counsel who seem to be giving you less work? I can’t tell if it’s a change in circumstance or a reflection of my work.

I'm in national security financial management, and I need to get out of A-123. Ideally into program management or something, but I'm losing my mind spending all my time on not even paper exercises that no one cares about, but support for under motivated principals doing paper exercises no one cares about.
