So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Hi - I’m a PM at a reasonably well known company. I don’t have an MBA and see lots of folks asking about needing that to get an interview at FB, G or A. I can confirm that an MBA isn’t a hard req as I’ve had recruiters reach out and offers to move forward to interviews before. I’ve never decided to actually move forward though as I don’t see the appeal. I really want to know, what’s the thing that excites you all about working at a massive FAANG type company?

Do most pe firms require an MBA to move past the associate role? Been reading conflicting views online.

I have been short-listed among 2 other applicants for a great UX/UI role.
The role is very UI focused, am a jr but the role is Mid weight, yet I still got through! Yay

Client wants to set up an LLC where a President gets 25% of the membership interests but contributes no capital other than his services. Governance is supposed to be handled by the vote of the members based on percentage ownership. It seems like the President is going to recognize tax on the value of his contributed services unless we structure his interests as profits interests. Would welcome anyone’s thoughts. Anyone who has made the move from the US to UK member firm - thoughts? Was it worth it?

I know this gets posted a lot in here but I am struggling to make financial sense of my offer I received. I know UK salary market is much lower, but I also don’t want to be suddenly strapped for money when I am comfortable in the US. Obviously my want to move to the UK can/probably will outweigh this concern but I would appreciate any weigh in.
