Is very high stress over the staffing process a good enough reason to leave? I’m not the best cold-networker, i’m much better at keeping a network once i’ve actually worked with people. I am constantly anxious and stressed and thinking about when i’ll next roll off, worrying about being let go off the bench and never finding a new role.
Currently interviewing for a designer role at Tesla - wanted some advice. The hiring manager has seemed uninterested and always dropped off interviews early and without answering any of my questions. He also mentioned that he's lost 4 designers from the team recently (red flag!). I think it'd be a cool role, but it sounds like I'd be the only designer and there's not a ton of support, BUT if I do well - lots of room for growth and promotion. Plus internal transfers after a year also an option?
Applying to industry after 2 yrs in a data-heavy strategy consulting role, and running into an odd problem: people are automatically putting me into a "heavy-quant" box and becoming apprehensive of my fit for a business role (strategy, FP&A, etc). 2 Qs: 1. Does this sound plausible, or am I overthinking based on a small sample? 2. How would you highlight your fit/interest in moderately quantitative roles? Consultants generally like my "Context> result> personal contribution" format of bullets

Any recommendations on programs, certificates, courses, books, or other similar ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
We just had 10-15% cutbacks. Firm based in Europe. They say it’s not performance based and all to COVID, our whole team got axed in nyc. A shell of the team exists in Europe, sort of doing the same job. It’s hard to not feel a part of this was performance based though given the remaining team in Europe. What is best way to get clarity around this and/or move on?
