I'm speaking with someone tomorrow. My manager reccomended them and I'm desparate

See my post below. I’ve successfully coached lots of people to achieve what they thought was an emposaible feat.

I would imagine if someone is really struggling and it’s holding them back they may pay for it.

Has a client ever assessed your account? I’m in Canada and a client can serve a notice for an appointment to assess the firm’s fees. Is this a death sentence?

Just finished my last interview after a total of 4 interviews going over 6 hours…. I should hear back my end of day. Prayers for good things.

I studied SCM in college but I’ve been working through tech implementations on the ptp side for about 4 years now - it’s been all indirect client work though and no supply chain. How tough is it to pivot to more process and supply chain based strategy projects - do I need to get my mba. At a smaller firm now and feel like I’d have to jump to an Accenture to actually have the ability to do that kind of work (logistics and trade optimization, planning, manufacturing)

I know its a small win, but I finally got status on something besides my Amex! Anyone got platinum or Diamond yet?

Hello all, I’m an aspiring PM and I had no luck in application process just by applying. I wanted to know and ask if anyone kind enough to give me a referral for the Product Management roles. We can have definitely have a coffee chat and you can decide if I’m worthy for your referral. I currently see, @Yahoo looking for an APM. But I would appreciate any lead. Thank you for your time.

How do you mentally deal with the stress of this work and these (demanding Wall Street) clients? I’m a senior m&a associate leading multiple deals and every client wants a quick turn around and response times around the clock which is impossible to keep up for each one. I feel like im not giving the best service even though I’m working late nights and weekends. I’m close to promotion but wondering if I’m not cut out for this (seeing some health affects) or if all I need is a mindset change.

I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles). Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already. I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?
