Would it be better for my wife (and child) to be on a separate health insurance than me so I can do HDHP/HSA for us to use long term? Lost my HSA ability due to her not being able to do a HDHP.

Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. Hello Fishes,

I am currently working in healthcare as a coordinator and pursuing mba full time in Canada - I’ll be graduating in September.. I wish to get into finance, specifically investment banking or asset management or fintech. I already hold ~4 years of experience from India.
I would appreciate any leads or referrals in such industries.

Any Deloitte fishes out there that have analyzed the health benefit options for Vyvanse coverage? Both me and my daughter take Vyvanse and I have been burned by plan coverage/prescription benefits in the past. I think the PPO plans actually end up cheaper, all other variables removed.

Went through 4 interviews, panel with presentation/case study with mental health startup that has nothing but rave reviews for me. Apparently no TA team until after I was offered something 20K+ less than I make now. Head of new TA team said they’ll work with me to find a position that fits - the process I went through was “grossly mishandled”. Keep telling me that not even managers make what I’m asking for. Asking for 75k min for 30+ caseload. How do I push them on it? is even worth it?

Do you lose unemployment benefits after you receive a job offer but before you start? I know it may vary by state, but haven't found anything specific (MA).

They ask if you have an offer, and I know looking for a job is a requirement to receive benefits, so wondering if saying I have an offer and no longer looking would disqualify me.

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I'm a $70M fee-only (commissions for insurance) independent RIA with a generous comp schedule that enables FAs to own their own book while they grow. As the owner, my focus is to help FAs succeed; as a firm, our focus is on client service and helping them succeed. I can afford a small salary, but not benefits. I’ve seen a couple posts lately with comments saying that people should not use a Roth 401k. Does the logic below capture the spirit of that concept?
1. Use trad. 401k to reduce taxable income now. Convert to trad. IRA once retired, then convert gradually to Roth IRA (ladder, SEPP, etc.) at lowest marginal tax rate
2. Use Roth IRA (and/or backdoor Roth) to take advantage of tax free growth and ability to withdraw principal early without penalty
