I’ve been sober for a few months and there are a few cocktail parties coming up at work. It’s “encouraged” to attend. Any advice? I have been to a couple backyard parties over the summer where I was around alcohol but I was mostly among friends. This is going to be different. Anyone else ever have a situation like this? I always underestimate how long things will take, both because we ADHD’ers view time differently and because I don’t build in time for getting distracted.
