If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.
Anyone leave after a year? Any advice?

With the new office yes - but how long of a bridge would this be if u’ve only been there a couple months? Ur old bridged will be ashes as soon as u leave anyway. Go for it. End justified the means TBH
If you’re an associate, there is a very small chance the firm pays for your moving expenses and even if they do, you will have to sign a contract to repay them if you do leave within a few months. If you are just looking to get to a new city (and don’t care about your own moving expenses), what’s stopping you from doing that now?
Agree with PwC3 - every relocation bonus I've ever seen has a clawback if you leave, typically within 1 or 2 years
PWC 3 & SM 1 are correct. As someone who was in a similar situation previously, you’d be much better off skipping the middle step and getting a new job if you don’t like your current function. They probably won’t help or adjust your salary for COL and, if they do, there will be clawbacks if you leave and you won’t know what those are until you’re already making the move.
Yes
Few weeks yeah months no
If you already know you’re planning on leaving, then just be honest you want the firm to pay you (for your move)...to leave the firm. If you already know you want to leave the firm, it’s bad business to go with your current plan and people in your new city will know you took advantage of the system. Unless you’re in a huge market, you’ll likely cross paths with your old firm in the future
Relocation packages are typically when the firm is asking you to move. Not typically offered when it’s you wanting to move
Yes
