Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

No, move to slalom or go to industry.
For WLB, yes. Exit opps, interesting/complicated projects, prestige, leadership to learn from, etc. I’d say no when comparing to MBB or T2. Just depends what you’re looking for!
No. You can get staffed on a projects just as demanding as MBB ones, but now you will get paid less, be part of a weaker brand, worse exit ops, and less interesting projects (IMHO).

You dont want either. Use MBB on the resume and go get a good job
Pro
Work you enjoy that presents opportunities for growth and strong peer relationships. A good job wouldn’t have people actively trying to undermine you to make themselves look better but instead would have a positive culture where you work as a team. Also pays well enough so you aren’t constantly looking for new opportunities.
If I saw this move I would immediately assume you were CTLed: go industry
Go to industry. The wlb improvement probably won’t be enough to overcome the L in everything else.
Only makes sense if you’re doing it for a promo to partner or if you got counseled out and they were the only firms to be able to pick you up quickly
