Some of us probably already had this happened
It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!

If you’ve already given them 1:1 feedback about it, I’d start looping in their respective managers into the conversations. If they send you last minute meeting invites and don’t attend or secure key people to be there, it’s disrespectful of your time. It’s most likely not cultural, but I think it’s “team culture”..there’s probably a bigger underlying organization/team issue that needs to be addressed
Ah gotcha. I was under the impression it was one team within a larger org.
I don't have any Indian co-workers like that, but majority of my Indian co-workers just go on and on in the meeting and don't let me talk.
Same, but I have an easier time learning how to interrupt people : /
Don’t join the meetings.. especially if they are last minute. Reschedule at a later date, asking them for clear agenda topics, or email and ask what they need?
If I do 1:1 with all those who does this, there will be a few dozens per year….. so not super scalable : /

You get invited and they don’t join ?
Sometimes, or 10 got invites but only 2 shows up. And they don’t secure the key person for the meets 😅
It seems like these are all those "This can be an email" situations.
Very few writes clean emails where I work …..
If there are no consequences for their actions, it will continue. So try to find some semblance of accountability. If you don’t do anything, you are complicit to this unprofessional behavior.
This is not cultural. India like America have their caste system but I have not seen Indians exhibit undesirable behaviors outside their circles. This problem can be solved by creating situations that are mutually beneficial. Somehow your colleagues do not think attending meetings with you is a path to their success. Or answering your questions. Why do they think that? Who in your and their hierarchy can help reset expectations?
Since this is happening to different people then you have better case when you escalate. I would try to gauge interest in your position by talking to managers you’re cool with. Try to get internal feedback on how to proceed. Escalating a lot of times is a double edged sword. Good luck
