I’m a new first year. I did a poor job attempting to draft part of an Agreement today on my own. I started at the firm just over a month ago so I know I am not expected to be an expert at drafting contracts and the partner said I’ll get better as I do more of them but I can’t help but feel disappointed in myself. At what stage do you expect a first year to be competent at drafting unique provisions of Agreements?


How often do you get a raise? Annually? What percentage was your last one or two?
